Here's a simple challenge: leave this room with WASD keys. It is possible, I've done it.
NOTE: You can't move to a directly adjacent position if a block is there.

hard
Did it, you press both w and either a or d together when youre diagonal from that out of place green block
Yeah, I noticed that too. The reason why it works is because UnityDogGaming04 set the sim frequency to a very low value (6.0 Hz). A low sim frequency causes Algodoo to calculate things like position information very slowly which allows the moving block to slip past the walls of the room before Algodoo realizes what happened!

If you set the sim frequency to 60 Hz, which is the default value, then it would be impossible for you to make the same type of move.
Congrats to all you who figured it out!
This might be a new game idea, but I need to work out the kinks, which so far haven't presented themselves as fixable in any simple way.
Xray - Actually, the position calculations are done at the same speed, but there's a long gap of nothing being done at low frequencies. Often, when the frequency is high enough, scripts aren't executed every frame. And at 60 Hz, I have actually managed to do the move a few times!

This was amazing! Love your work!
Thanks for the kind words, BROWNZEY!
I've got some games with speedrun records you could challenge, if you're interested in any.
UDG04 -- Here is a scene that I posted a long time ago which demonstrates the timing difference between PostStep and upDate. You may find it to be interesting and useful: Script Timing Demo

Xray - Thanks! I'll keep the info from that scene in mind in case I need it.
is deleting a block considered cheating?
