When very massiv stars die, they explode. Their shockwave and gamma rays can go up to 300 light years, all the stars inside that bubble aren't exploding anytime soon, but a stellar explosion might cause a threat from far away still. Gamma ray bursts,which could be powerfull enough to strip away our O3 layer. Killing us and other species, but if we survive, we would encounter ourselves in a cosmic winter. A winter that could last for decades or centuriess. There are other spacial threats , but those are way to unlikely or, would happen over long long time scales. Appart from asteroids and stellar explosions, Earth is safe from all cosmic danger.
