1.3 has dropped! I'm actually going to put things about the updates here instead of leaving it as some outdated random thing. Anyways 4 new blocks, a new inventory system using sets instead of all in one, many combo blocks are now regular blocks, and new things to explore!
Anyways, about the game itself. Thinking of just putting the block changing script in one object gave me the idea to re-make Algocraft, but... ya know... better. The game has a much larger world map, and the inventory has 9 blocks instead of 5! The overall game has 28 blocks rather than 7 (Yes, air is included as a block. Deal with it), and there is also a new mode of building! Pressing Q will turn on background build mode! The character (who has a horrible sprite, I know) will turn darker, and any blocks placed will go in the background instead, and can be moved through! Press Q again to change back.
If you're new to Algocraft, let me brief you on the controls: A and D are to move left and right, W is to jump, E is to switch between Mine (Red) and Build (Blue), 1-9 choose which block you want to build, - and = to change inventories (new to 1.3
) and IJKL are used to build (I is up, J is left, K is down, and L is right)
If you've played the first Algocraft (which somehow got over 10k downloads), you were probably very aware that Grass Blocks could not be placed, and when one was destroyed, it was gone forever. Well not in this game! It may not be in the inventory, but by placing certain blocks in certain other blocks can create whole new blocks! There are 4 of these secret blocks, all scattered throughout the world. Can you find them all?
With all of these improvements to the core gameplay (as well as actual textures, making this game easier on the eyes), I really hope you enjoy this game! Instead of taking two hours, this one instead took about a day to make. Don't forget, if you find something broken in the game, please tell me. And one last thing, if you have a really cool build that you want to share with the world, don't be afraid to post it! (Make sure to give credit)

- Added 4 new blocks: Palm Log, Palm Leaves, Palm Planks, and a seeeeecret combo block
- Built more world to the right with these new blocks (except planks)
- Revamped the inventory! Now there are 3 inventories, and you use - and + (=) to go backwards and forwards between them! So far, 4 slots in inventory 2 remain empty... (Rest in peace 0 in the controls)
- Turned Sandstone and the 8 alternate wool colors into regular blocks and set them in the inventory! We're back to only 4 combo blocks as one was added just now
