/!\ MAKE SURE TO READ ALL NOTES AND CONTROLS PLEASE /!\
This is a weird little cannon-projectile-shooter-thingy I made
using 2 rubber wheels spinning at exactly 78.54 rad/s to fire
a red dart to over 1420 meters away! With a maximum clip of
13 and 3 additional 8-round magazines, the weapon is pretty
easy to operate. Here are the controls and additional notes:
ENTER or RETURN: Activate fly-wheels (toggle)
RIGHT-SHIFT: Brake fly-wheels
BACKSLASH (\): Activate loading wheel (toggle)
UP ARROW: Aim up
DOWN ARROW: Aim down
Reloading Magazine:
1. Slide the ORANGE handled bar back until it hit the stopper,
2. Pull the empty magazine out using the BLACK bar on top,
3. Activate 'Disable Rotation' on the drag tool,
4. Grab a full magazine from the left,
5. Insert it into the slot the previous magazine was in,
6. Deactivate the option you selected in step 3,
6. Pull the ORANGE handled bar back into place,
7. The restrictor is deleted and the magazine is locked in place,
8. The weapon is ready to fire again!
NOTES (Important!!):
NOTE #1:
The 2 fly-wheels take quite some time to fully charge, so it is
strongly reccomended to deactivate Air Resistance so they
accelarate faster. For accurate shooting, re-enable Air
Resistance when the fly-wheels reach 78.54 rad/s,
NOTE #2:
Keeping the provided Velocity window for the fly-wheels is a
good idea, keep your eye on the rad/s speed bar at the bottom.
When the fly-wheels reach -78.54 - 78.54 rad/s, they would have
reached maximum speed and will no longer speed up,
NOTE #3: To the left underneath the spare magazines is a black
circle with a blue arrow in it. This indicates the approximate
angle of the weapon, but the weight of the 2 fly-wheels causes
the angle to slowly drop, so when you set the weapon to a specific
angle, fixating it in place is reccomended for prolonged stability. |
