This is a VERY useful tool, which I will definitely use. Thanks!

Just one question: The parameter labeled "Split(str, delimeter)" doesn't seem to do what I was expecting it to do. No matter what character I enter as a delimiter, your function always displays square brackets in the output string. Am I not using it correctly, or does it have a bug?

EDIT: Never mind! I just realized I was not using it correctly, but I figured out how to properly use it. It works perfectly!!!

Thanks for the feedback.
Another cool scene!
Thanks.
How do I use sub-strings like this on my scene? :s

1. Save GUI in the "Components" (phunlets) folder.
2. Add the GUI to a new scene. The string functions load with the phunlet and remain with the scene after the phunlet is closed.
3. Add "scene.my.str_" before any string function to use it. For example, scene.my.str_instr("The cat in the hat","cat",false) = [4].

Your comment is not helpful because lacks detail. If you could cite a specific example, then I might be able to help. The only thing I can think of is that the GUI is slower to respond than a standard GUI because the GUI logic is all in thyme script.
I respectfully disagree with BlueMoon2607. The scene may be a little slow and might have a minor glitch or two, but it is far from "useless".
Sorry
This is useful, you can now do anything with the string. Thanks! I can now do a save data method.
