I've been puzzled by this problem for years, and I've finally found a solution.
The problem is a bit complicated, but I'll do my best to explain it.
I've wondered how to represent every possible triangle in a simgle image, ignoring rotations, translations, reflections and dilations. I realized that all points and lines are similar, so two points can be fixed in place (the orange ones at the bottom) and the third can move freely in a specified region. I noticed that this region only needs to be near one stationary point, and also it only has to be on one side of the stationary line. A few extra realizations later, and I cut it down to this shape. Let me explain the different colors.
If the dot is on the red edges, the triangle is isosceles.
If the dot is on the green edge, the triangle is straight.
If the dot is on the purple edge, the triangle is a right triangle, with the right angle being the moving point.
If the dot is in the yellow region, the triangle is obtuse.
If the dot is in the blue region, the triangle is acute.
If the dot is on the yellow point at the top, the triangle is equilateral.
