maxRays is not changing because your code has a bug. I won't tell you how to fix it because you will learn more by doing your own research in the Algodoo Forum instead of me always fixing stuff for you.

just adding im not able to use the forum very well, not to mention i tried logging into it a few ago and it wouldn't recognise the username for several attempts
im no good navigating any reddit-esque forums, to be honest.

Yeah, you got it! I don't know why the lead engineer who created Algodoo did the Boolean true/false test in the manner in which he did it, but once you learn it, you never forget it (well, most of the time! LOL).

The reason why you had trouble logging in to the forum is because the Algodoo forum requires a total separate account from Algobox. In most cases you can use your same user name that you used in Algobox, but you still must register separately as if it's a different web site. I use the same user name for the forum (Xray) but I could have used Xray2 if I wanted to.

Okay, if I don't see you on Algobox for some time, I will know that you didn't die or that you didn't get smacked in the face by a charging elephant, etc. See you when you return!
