I like the background, but why can't you pause it?

I knew people would comment about that, and I did that intentionally because I wanted to show that you cannot "pause" your brain when it gets messed up from taking street drugs. It stays with you, sometimes for a very long time.

Yes kids, don't do street drugs or you might come home and make an Algodoo scene like this one.

I've done drugs (alcohol) before and I've found that it has never improved any situation I was in at the time.

Besides that, there is something that you kids don't seem to understand. And that is the fact that this part of the Algodoo web site which is known as Algobox was not intended to be used as an ongoing interactive game in which cartoon athletes compete, and users pick who the winners are (I think that's how you play it?). Algobox was intended as a place where people could display, share, and store interesting dynamic scenes which show the many capabilities of the simulation program called Algodoo. It was NOT put here for kids to make static cartoon people or to display a thousand colored marbles. Unfortunately, we do allow those things, hoping that kids will eventually get bored with making cartoon stick people and start making interesting dynamic scenes which have a lot of interesting physics.

I hope you will pass this lesson on to other kids on Algobox who are stuck in a rut making simple cartoon stick people.

JohnG -- I did not report you. I am the Admin here on Algobox, and I am the one who sent you the warning. We do not allow those kinds of scenes because, contrary to what most of the kids here think, Algobox is NOT a game, and we do not want it to turn into a game. Algobox is simply a place for people to share their scenes they made with other people. The scenes themselves could be games, but this web site named Algobox is itself not a game. I wish you kids would understand that.

xaxexx -- That question is off-topic and doesn't belong here, but I will answer it anyway because I'm a nice guy.

First of all, explain what you mean by "screen effects". Be specific so that I completely understand you, and I can then give you an accurate answer.

uh..the drug trails..the purple stuff coming from each object.. the trails, it even happens for the GUI!

There are two commands that control that feature. They are grooyOn and groovyOff

groovyOn turns that weird psycho effect ON and groovyOff turns it OFF. You can type those commands either into the Algodoo console, or into the data input area of any Algodoo geometry. The data input area is the dark strip located in the upper left-hand corner of any geometry when in the Script Menu.
