Thread

I have developed a cloning machine that allows you to clone circles and squares as close to the original size as possible. Instructions are in scene.

BTW I spent about two and a half weeks working on this. I ran into a lot of bugs along the way but here it is!

Credit to Iggyhopper for the distance formula.

Update! It now supports restitution, friction, density, and textures.

If you have any suggestions or bug reports for this scene please post them here or here.

Video of it in action.

some times its not eggsact but it is quiet impressive that u can do this this will be big in the phuniverse :lol: :tup:
Sometimes when "enter" is assigned on one computer, it doesn't work on another computer. Like this scene for me. Normally I just re-assign the "enter" commands to my "enter", and the scene works fine, but this is too complicated for me to tinker with. If you could, please tell me where I need to change the "enter" at, or possibly change the command in another version. Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind, it was the thyme commands that need to put in like you said.

@ndrummer
Thanks! I was pretty sure that scene would probably be somekind of an impact on the phun (scripting) community.

@Arthur
If you want me to I can put the hinge that has "enter" in it to the front so others can change to what they want.
i tried entering on the hinges the {scene.my.ccw1} thing but nothing happens.

what category does it need to be in? (collideset, hetero collide, etc.)
Sorry about that. You put the {scene.my.ccw1} into the ccw field of the four hinges and {scene.my.colcheck} into the collideSet of the four purple circles.
It just crashes....
Can you please explain what you mean by "crashes"? Do you mean phun crashed or the machine doesn't work?
Do you have the latest version of phun? Did you put the variables in the right places? Download the updated version and see if the problem still exists.
do you realize your over complicating this?
How so?:s
Works now... anywho it's really cool, but needs a ton of work to get it right
You guys need to tell me specifically what needs to be improved otherwise I can only fix bugs that I know of and add features that I think might be useful.

So what needs a ton of work to get right, rastadogg?
please check your messages in the forum.
how did you get a youtube video on phunbox?
You use tags. Does anybody else have any suggestions for improvements? I'm still having a bit of trouble with the cloning process of polygons.
