Instructions are in the game, but here is a quick summary....

There are three baskets. Each time you get the ball to land in any basket, a special number, called "Value Added" will be added to the current score. Value Added starts out at 1. If you continue to dunk the ball into the same basket over and over again, your score will increase by 1. BUT, if you shoot for a DIFFERENT basket and make it, the Value Added number will be multiplied by 10, and then each basket will increase the score by 10 until you make a DIFFERENT basket. So, you see, it pays to aim for a different basket each time! BUT there is a limit on Value Added which is 100000 (one hundred thousand). When Value Added reaches 100000, it will not change after that, and so you might as well continue shooting for the same basket. If I calculated it correctly, the highest possible score in this game is 2511111 (that's two million, five hundred eleven thousand, one hundred and eleven).

Hope you like it!

Nice work. Maybe hide x and y values.
Great work again!
Thank you, gentlemen!

s_noonan -- I wanted the values to show so that a player could keep track of certain "sweet spots" for each basket. They could choose to make use of them or not.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
10/10 Very clever, what was your inspiration?
X and Y values are a bit cheaty and I firstly tried to pull those sliders (silly me):D
Animation is really great, idk how it even works :bonk:
I got two points and I'm happy with that, this scene runs so slow on my PC that I turned it off to save rest of my nerves for later use
I'm making a small series of simple games, I'll need some nerves to do that, check them out, will you? Thanks!
@JakubKubo -- You said, "...what was your inspiration?"

Well, nearly all of the thousands of scenes stored here on Algobox that have a moving ball, show the ball moving only in the X and Y directions (right/left and up/down). I wanted to create some scenes that show a ball moving in 3D (that is, X, Y, and Z, where Z direction is in/out of the screen. In order to do that and to make it look natural, I had to figure out how to change the size of the ball as it moves closer to and farther from the viewer. I uploaded a few other scenes which show a moving 3D ball. They are not "perfect" but they look cooler than a 2D ball simply moving in the X and Y directions.

Thanks for your comments! I'm sure that your games will be awesome!

can i still post my youtuber marble race to youtube?

thx
Harris - Sure! You can do whatever you want to on YouTube because that's a different web site. But the owners of Algodoo do not want people advertising or promoting other web sites on this (Algodoo) web site. That's all!
Thank you.
And they said that Algodoo isn't 3d!
It's really inspiring to see that you are still creating new and creative scenes after all this time you have been on Algobox.
Yeah, unfortunately, there aren't too many of us "technical guys" still here on Algobox. I don't think I can count on one hand the guys who still make interesting dynamic scenes that demonstrate Algodoo's exceptional physics simulation tools. I'm hoping that some of the guys who left will return if they see that a few of us die hard Algodoo junkies are still around. The lines have been cast, and the bait is still alive! :)
Creative, I Like This Game, Tho It's A Bit Laggy
superbly done.
