This is a tool to help teach a small child how complex shapes can interfere with each other when they move. There are eight knobs with colored shapes attached to them. You explain to the child how to "push" the knobs by clicking on them with your mouse cursor. Instructions are in the scene which an older child or an adult could read and explain to the younger child.

Let me know in the comments if you think this is a useful teaching tool or not.

Thanks!

wow!
Excellent scene for the following reasons:
1. I've haven't seen a 2D puzzle like this before.
2. I think kids will enjoy it. Especially those who like building stuff.
3. It could be used as a test to see at what age kids acquire this skill.
4. The game can be used to help kids acquire this skill.

I think short instructions for kids may be good. Maybe "Touch (or click on) the knob that you think can be pushed towards the middle of the box." or "Touch (or click on) each knob and see what happens"
I got 8. Guess mom was right when she said I'm smart :*)

s_noonan -- Thanks for the excellent feedback. I appreciate it.

T'wind -- Nice going! Did mom read the instructions and explain to you how the game works?
This is educational and fun. I haven't seen any puzzles like this on Algobox before. It reminds me of some fun brain teasers I have tried. I think it is a great tool to help children learn about spaces and the areas shapes take up. Very nice!
8 is great.....But really..good job!:)
Thanks for the comments, guys. It's that kind of positive feedback that gives me the impetus to want to make and upload more scenes.
Now this is what I needed to see on Algobox.
How could I failed at this!)|( :bonk: :s :grr:
JakubKubo -- No worries..... I made the shapes test for use by small children, and because of that, the test is too difficult for anyone else.

Sorry if it shows I rated a 1. I kept clicking because it was frozen and I accidentally clicked 1. Really it's a 10.

Qwertyopilis -- It shows that you rated the scene a 10, so no problem. Thanks!
"The best score you can get is 8."
Gets 10.
My grandsons really enjoyed this scene. They each took turns and did it a couple times. The next day, they turned on the computer, found the scene (I had it stored locally), and played it again.
Thanks, s_noonan! I'm happy when I hear that one or more of my scenes are being used and enjoyed by kids of any age! I appreciate the feedback. :)
