@MasterGamer I agree with you; however, we all were once amatuers. Yes, a decline in scene quality may be the surface of this situation; however, I have witnessed the marble wars myself and left algodobox for that reason(just joined around that time as well but have been browsing around for 2 years(didn't have the guts to post.) The only reason such a scene has gotten to the front page is that we have a younger community.

On that note. We have so much potential. We can only hope to inspire them to make better scenes. As a result from algodoo, I have learned of clocks, engines, programming and more wonderous topics. And I hope the same goes to the newer members.

Even X-Ray, s_noonan, and Rangycrow were amatuers. They went through the same stages as these people are.

We cannot and should not fight them, but help them. So that algodoo has even more masters.

Sometimes, people give up on projects because they do not have the knowledge or the means of obtaining knowledge. We need to encourage community here.

But if you notice, even the marble scenes start to become more advanced(especially in comparison to 2012.) The laws of novelty force evolution, and better scenes.

Create a better algobox. It's fate is in all of our hands. So let us work together to create a community of masters.

@Scarab:Well I am also part of the camp community but I always comment like a neutral person,I never put filters in front of my eyes when ranting a scene.

But I am always there to encourage people,infact as I stated in my comment I really don't like doing mean comments and only do it when it's necessary.

I personally don't think that the problem here are "Young users" because Algodoo always had those,The REAL problem is the lack of new users that stay active for more than a week.

In the past a lot of users joined because of the increase in popularity of Marble Races and Camps who highly buffed the number of active users but send away the masters who once did tecnical scenes.Now that even those past trends are becoming less popular than before the number of active users is decreasing as the old ones quit for whatever reasons.

That's my opinion on the subject...

That actually makes you one of the Medium to older users, thus meaning you are propably capable of more "interesting" scenes than what is the average nowadays. If you are interested in learning how to use scripts, feel free to ask me, just use @Fra32 anywhere in your comment
