Hey MasterGamer,

I see that you agree to some extend with Nubman's opinion about marbles, however I noticed that you have countless scenes about Camps and similar (I am not aware of the precise names you use). I've been wondering what's your opinion about the abundance of camp-related scenes and "For User" scenes. Nowadays they make up the vast majority of the uploaded scenes and thus often force other scenes away.

@FRA32:Don't worry about the names I give them,just call them camps.

The fact is that when I made my first camp I got a lot of support and that feeling really bosted my self esteem and got me into becoming a real camp maker and start joning a lot of camps.

That's how my story started but some weeks I started to understand the stress that all of my scenes caused to many users.
Infact,recently I also started to download a lot of complex scenes to learn how to script and maybe one day I will make semi-scripted scenes myself.

But right now I feel like it's one of my responsibilities to continue doing camps for a bit,I have been here for way too long to just stop doing them out of nowhere.
Who knows though,maybe one day in the far but seeable future I will stop devoting time to camps and start doing semi-techo scenes.

Also,unlike a good part of the community,I NEVER put filters in front of my eyes when checking a scene and try to rate everything like a neutral person would do;because of this I might do comments that a "camper" like me would never do.

Also,I personally think that the last part of your comment is in part wrong,infact I have noticed that the "For User" scenes aren't as spammy as they used to be and a lot of campers are starting to avoid challenges that require scenes.
Finally I must say that there are a lot of spam scenes that are just some random and pointless polygons that are taking a much bigger part of Algobox then they used to be.

I am glad that you are one of the very very few users who make camp type scenes but are actually mature and as such much better to talk to.

Algodoo has had a scene grouping feature for a while now, however it is inconvenient to use and as such barely used by most people. Some of the technical guys(that are left) make use of the technical group(Including me sometimes), however the default group is basically the standard group for camps etc. Unfortunally it is basically impossible to convince all these people to go their way just to tag their scenes for us, however, maybe you are willing to make use of this feature. I doubt it would have much impact, but any efford in keeping algobox clean is some sort of progress.

About your hopes of advancing to more complex scenes someday: If you contact me via the online forum of algodoo, I can teach you any knowledge on thyme that you want to know. I am fairly experienced in most concepts of thyme, and as such you can learn some handy tricks for your scenes.

About the Group thing,if you can tell me how to change it,I will do it.
I also really appreciate how you are willing to teach people tips and tricks about scripting and Thyme.

You can utilize the group feature by visiting http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/ in your browser, logging into your algobox profile, viewing your scene and clicking "edit" at the top of the description. There, you can select a group for the scene, amongst other things.
About the forum thing, you need to know that the forum uses a different account system than algobox. If you never registered to algodoos forum, make a new account there and you should be able to message me. Simply look for my name either in the members list, or see if you can find my name in the thyme coding forum. If you click on it, you are redirected to my profile, and there you can send me a DM.
