This is a machine that use Disc for video playback only. I made this
by myself with the exception of the Screen (and the laser tracking) Script, made by Blazemann.
I was searching for the speed selector script (Radius) on Google.
This one also is for a Highschool (Math: Pythagoras' theorem) project.

The scene includes:
-The Machine
-Raw VideoDisc
-2 Disc collection of the Pythagoras' theorem (one made by me on spanish and other with a animation)

Enjoy.

Coming soon:
-Fac-simile machine of discs
-Disc writting facilitator

This scene makes no sense. As soon as I run Algodoo, the entire scene shakes, and you provide no instructions that explain how to do anything.
It has an user's manual inside of the box

I'll upload it unboxed, maybe
Here's a couple of suggestions:

1. The "user's manual" is almost worthless because, although it explains how to turn the machine on and change speed, it says nothing about how to get a disc out of the disc holder, and how to load the disc into the disc reader. Details, details, details!

2. After puttsing (not a word) around, I figured out how to open the disc holders, and also how to load a disc into the reader. Both tasks are very difficult because those things are not glued down. They are easily knocked over, and they can bang into other things which can get knocked around. I suggest that you glue the CD (or DVD) holders to the background. Then a user will be able to open the lids and remove the discs without accidentally moving the holders all over the place by bumping them. Also, the reader machine should be glued to the background. It is MUCH easier to work with when stable.

In general, when you upload any fairly complex device which people do not intuitively know how to use, you need to supply INSTRUCTIONS. Just because YOU understand how to do something, doesn't mean that everyone knows how to do it. The more details you provide, the better your scene will be because people will be able to use it without spending hours trying to figure it out!

Except for those few details, you did a good job on the scene!

giangiygas -- I see that you made a few minor changes to your scene, but over all, it's still impossible to use.

How to read the User Manual? I try to open the cover of the manual by dragging it open, but gravity pulls it back down again! The only possible way that I found to read the manual is to delete pages that I have already read. But that's a really stupid way to make a manual!

Another issue is those DVD or CD cases. I can drag the lid open but then how do you get the DVD out of the case? It's too far below the top level of the case to grab it. I could shake it out, but that's rather stupid too.

I realize that you have little or no experience making Algodoo scenes, and that's why I try to help you. If you do not want my help any more, please let me know so that I don't continue to waste my time if you don't want it. Thanks
Those changes was upload errors that i have with the Video Tape Machine.
Because i use an default scene that has already the grid and 210 Hz simulation. Those upload fails overwritte this one. I will update this one xd

Btw thanks for you help
Okay, no problem. I'll check it out again after you've made those changes that I suggested.
i've made another version, if you didn't saw it xd
I still don't see that you fixed any of the problems that I told you about. The scene is still impossible to use. So please tell me what exactly you did to it in the latest version? It looks to me like you made no changes at all!
It has an auto-position disc system, the manual is better, it has more mass and doesn't get outta the floor easily (at least you take it intentionally xd)

It still using the 4 speed manual system. i've made it a single piece and it's open-close system is automatic
When I try to make my own version the discs always shake
