What's your point? I mean, what message are you trying to convey with this scene? And what are you hoping to accomplish by doing this?
He means, 'Soon the Orange will dominate the entire grid'
AMROfficallime - Please don't speak for Stormstar. I'm sure he is quite capable of speaking for himself.
@Xray
My point is showing is if anyone noticed that. Since 2 months ago, I've noticed that spam scenes from inexperienced algodooers are flooding tha algobox.
When I first joined Algodoo (9 months ago) It was 30% algothons 30% camps 30% marble races and 10% other stuff. Now it is (see graph in scene.)
I'm worried that by 2019, algodoo would by very spammy and have scenes be upload every minute (Today, it's every 35-50 minutes from 45-60 in 2017).
All the spam is from random children who make accounts, upload 2-5 scenes and quit.
Yeah, although I did not take the time to do the detailed research that you have done, I have been noticing the increased frequency of "spam" scenes. Algobox would be a lot different (more like it was before ALgoryx started giving it away) if it were up to me. Unfortunately, I do not make the rules. I only enforce them. And so if Emanuel from Algoryx tells me to allow virtually any kind of scene (As long as they don't violate the Terms of Service) then That's what I have to do. I don't like it either, and that is exactly why many smart, talented, and mature people have left Algobox over the past five or six years. Now it has turned into a Kindergaten and we "older" folks can't do much about it. Complaining doesn't work, and Algoryx will no longer support it. If it wasn't for me sticking around, the site would fall into total chaos in short order. I try to keep that from happening, but even I grow more and more frustrated with what it has become, and I don't know how much longer I will stick around.
I'll be here for the next 3 years. I hope it will be better. I think someone on another site may have talked about it and people saw that and came here.
Once that post/article/video fades away, algobox will be better.
I disagree. Algobox will not be better until Emanuel makes some major changes to it. But from comments that he has made to me, I don't think that is going to happen.
I've been making some graphs using Algobox user list data. I found some very suprising facts.

1.The average account on Algobox has NOT uploaded any scenes.
(62% of Algobox accounts uploaded at 0 scenes.)
2.Out 100 registered accounts from 34847 to 34947, FIFTEEN of them have not made a single comment, downloaded a single scene, or upload a single scene.
3.Every 1 hour and 50 minutes, someone around the world registers an account on the algobox.

I predict that by 2019, 30% of accounts won't have a comment/upload/download and that one account will be made every 50 minutes.
The rate Algobox accounts and scenes being spammed is growing unusually quick. It took a year for camps/BFDI/camps/marble races to get a portion of the Algobox. But it took these "spam" scenes less than a month to do the same things.
That's exactly why changes are needed, especially to how the registration process is done. Currently, new users can (and do) enter bogus Email addresses. If we were to implement some sort of Email confirmation (e.g., "Click this link to complete your registration") then that would help a great deal to reduce the amount of spam and people who register for no other reason than the fact that they are bored and have nothing better to do. But Emanuel disagrees with me on that point, and therefore has no intention of improving the registration process. If he is reluctant to make any needed improvements, then things will only get worse in time.
Why does Emil disagree on that?
My friend suggested an idea.
He says that there should be a timer that starts once an Algodooer uploads a scene. While the timer is still counting, algodooers cannot upload any scenes.
Since non-spammy algodooers don't upload scenes very often, This wouldn't affect the non-spammers but they would prevent spammers from uploading large amounts of scenes and only uploading scenes they liked.

Also, i made a error in my past comment, I wrote camps twice when I actually meant camps/algothons.
The timer can be like 3-5 scenes every day/at least 2-12 hours between scene uploads or something like that. The timer will decrease as an Algodooer makes more comments/download more scenes.
Ex.
6 hours to 5: 0 comments 500 downloads
5 hours to 4: 10 comments 1000 downloads
4 hours to 3: 25 comments 1500 downloads
3 hours to 2.5: 50 comments 2000 downloads
2.5 to 2: 100 comments 3000 downloads
...
0.5 hours to 0: 1000 comments 10000 downloads

Don't tell them that there is or thay will spam comment/spam download.
Then things will get WORSE!
but if we dont tell then things go normal!
Are you still here Xray?
Good idea about the timer, but Emanuel (not Emil because he no longer works at Algoryx) has no plans to make changes or improvements to Algobox. I made many suggestions to him but he does not seem interested in spending the time or money on making any improvements. Algobox and Algodoo are no longer supported, so they are as good as they will ever be. :(
I confused Emil and Emanuel because i thiught "Emil" was short for Emanuel.

I'll see how thigs will do in the next 3 years. Maybe the damage will reverse. Maybe Emanuel has the time and money to do changes.
I honestly don't see how the damage could reverse without major changes in the rules and policies. In my opinion, what would make the biggest and most beneficial improvement is if Algobox were divided up into two completely separate sections that would require special registrations for each. One section would be for the children (camps, algothons, marble races, and those sorts of things) and the other section would be for technical scenes that older, more mature people enjoy making and posting. But again, that will not happen as long as Algoryx won't support and maintain Algobox.
You already did that. The first scene in the featured. The one with 1040000 downloads. You can't just keep the "technical" scenes fresh and clean and leave the "children" scenes all flooded with spam accounts and copied scenes.
I demand a third group to put the spam scenes from inexperienced Algodooers.
What do you mean by "I demand"? You are in no position to demand anything. You can only respectfully request something.

Xray out....
ok.
By "I demand", i meant that "Algobox will better with"
By the way, Stormstar, you keep reporting scenes in which you claim that they either copied your scenes or someone else's, and I have told you numerous times that I no longer waist my time on those sorts of things. So, again, DO NOT REPORT COPY ABUSES. If you feel that someone has copied one of YOUR scenes, then deal with it yourself without attacking the other person. Explain to them that they copied your work without asking permission, and you are not happy about it. If they delete the scene, or if they give you credit (if you are okay with that) then GREAT! But if they snub their nose at you, basically saying "Too Bad", well, then there's nothing more that you can do. The problem that I have is the fact that you cannot prove to me that the thing you claim they copied is YOUR original material. In other words, you might have copied it from someone else, but claim that it's yours. Therein lies the problem.

So, NO MORE REPORTING copy violations. Only report things like sexual scenes, or cussing or threatening people with death or bodily harm. Okay?

Thanks
*waste not waist
2 weeks ago, I said that 15 of the 100 recent accounts had 0-0-0 uploads/downloads/comments.

Now that has DOUBLED!

15% 2 weeks ago
31% as of this comment

1/3 of them came from an account-spammer (as you said). He/she made 12 accounts in under 2:30. All of them have 0-0-0

I guess by June, that will double again; going from 30% to 60% (or 1:1.33).
3 days ago: 31%
Today: 43%
It went up by 12%!
Suggestion -
In addition to posting those bleak statistics, there may be something that you can actually DO about the situation. That is, go to the Algodoo FORUM and log in (you will have to register if you already haven't done so). Go to your "Control Panel" and access the Personal Message section. Compose a PM to "emanuael" explaining your concerns, and maybe provide a link to this scene. If/when he responds to you, post a comment here about what he says. I think I know what he will say, but I hope I am wrong.
Hi.
Recently I saw unrelated scenes. I couldn't find the camps that I joined, that means I have no choice but to subscribe to those peeps.
I don't want this website to be completely spammed with kids just making a few scenes and then quit.
Those children have to learn their lesson.
By the following years, this website will be "a wasteland" of "spam" scenes, except for the technical group, of course.
I suggest that spam scenes could be moved to another tab instead of showing up in the 'New' tab
That way, the 'New' tab could be much cleaner of the spam scenes and those non-spam scenes will actually show up
Also, removing 'empty' accounts after they become inactive for a while could help keep the algobox clean as well
