Nothing big. Just a bunch of perfectly bouncing balls of different sizes in a gravity well. One can watch a Boltzmann distribution of each species of balls, with the big balls domination in the lower part. Ocassionally a very fast ball will reach over the top, thus evaporatively cooling the ensemble. Big balls of very low density is able to float on the gas as balloons, the lower density the higher they float.
