This thyme controlled device shoots an arrow (well a triangle) at the cursor when enter is pressed. The velocity of the arrow depends on how far the mouse is away from the wooden circle. The angle of the arrow points towards the mouse.
You can move the arrow spawning spot by using the polygon tool to move the wooden circle. It should still work the same though it doesn't always and I'm not sure why that is.
I plan to upgrade this again so the arrow has a tail whose length depends on the initial velocity. I would also like to attach a tracer to the arrows.
Basic Instructions:
1. Unpause.
2. Place cursor some distance from wooden circle.
3. Hit enter.
If people have ideas for improvement I'd love to hear them.
EDIT: Updated so self collision is on and friction and restitution are set to 0. |
