The automaton has just one state and reads one single symbol (on which it reacts with a sound).
Its complete state transition table is this:
state symbol || state' sound
0 - 0 -
0 1 0 1
What can be demonstrated is, that when the symbols come to fast, the automaton hasn't got enough
time to produce its sound (and to return in its ground state).
See the difference between increased simulation speed and increased motor speed!
Alternatively you can decrease the spring constant.
With sounds installed and running as described here: http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/details.php?id=67648
you can hear the switch of states. (After installation of sounds, copy the files http://syspedia.de/algodoo/sounds/bell-d.wav and http://syspedia.de/algodoo/sounds/string-g.wav to %USERPROFILE%/Documents/Algodoo/sounds.) |
