Xray,

Sorry about deleting the scene while you were commenting. Hopefully it wasn't a long story. I deleted it because the track did not scale well, and then I went to work. To scale the track, glue everything to the background, scale uniformly, start and stop the scene, then loosen everything once.

No problem. I figured you deleted it because you wanted to make a change to it or maybe it wasn't working as you intended it to. Anyhow, my comment stated that I am very impressed by how strong the track is. It's no doubt the strongest and most robust track on Algobox.

I also said that I did some experimenting with it, and found that I was able to delete both gears and the supporting beam, and the track still ran just fine all by itself! I did need to increase its mass quite a lot, and I made the friction infinite on all of the track segments. It was brilliant of you to use "materialVelocity" to propel the track, and the "textureMatrix" to give the image the appearance of motion. I can't recall if anyone has done that before. Good job!
I made a tank Trackless MarkV, (it have track going around whole body, so) I made body materialVelocity like engine
Later i made fake track which was using textures
Why i never mixed it? :bonk:

Great job, very clever:tup:
maybe I´ll "borrow" it for my bulldozer:angel:

Also i want to make strong track but i need that track will bend easily, but will be strong enough to be powered by sprocket with teeth, what is the correct settings (hinges, segments) ?
Q: I need that track will bend easily, but will be strong enough to be powered by sprocket with teeth, what is the correct settings (hinges, segments)?
A: I know that it's not easy making strong tracks, and that there are some tricks that you can use, but i don't recall them exactly. You may be able to increase the strength by playing with "allowDirectSolve", "legacyMode", and "density".

Regarding the track texture, it was your Bulldozer scene that inspred the track texture. Regarding using material velocity and and a texture, I did that on my Excavator II scene.

I like the track in the present scene better because I think it looks better and is easier to implement. You can borrow anything from any of my scenes.
