Just piston. With infinite length. And power. Did i mention i can be easily adjusted?
Screenshot tutorial in scene

Edit: (speed/sim.frequency)
- Now speed is in m/s and it is same at all frequencies
Thanks s_noonan, i forget about this

I found a bug:
At length 2.1+009 (2 100 000 000) it will reset back to 1.0+007 (10 000 000),
so i hope you don´t need to build piston able to reach another universe :bonk:
At least, it still goes full power:D
Nice work.

Thanks for response, I hope this will be usefull for you, looking forward to see what you made with them :bonk:

 Happy christmas, everyone!
You may ... by sim.frequency.

I'm impressed by how you made a piston out of the 2 X 128 pixel texture. I took me a while to figure it out and I'm not sure if I could create it from scratch if I needed to.

"You may ... by sim.frequency."
No, I got it, I just have problem with internet(I´ll try upload it tomorrow))|(
I´m happy that this (old) scene is there:/:D
By default it was 2x3 pixels, but first number of texture matrix was HUGE, so i change it to 2x128 and now first number is "only" 100, to make this work like that i used some "textureClamped magic":bonk:
I also work with black&white textures that have 3x3,2x2 or 1x2 resolution:D

This piston was created from scratch ( I forget how it was working in
"FAKE TRACK scene" so I needed to start over ), took me maybe 3 hours to make, then another 3 hours to make user-friendly (_rod, _length in metres)
and I forget about dividing by frequency:D

Thanks for comments really appreciate it
Edit: Is screen-shot tutorial/guide "understand-able"?

Question: Is screen-shot tutorial/guide "understand-able"?
Answer: Yes, very well done.
We appreciate the gift, but you may want to rename this scene in order to make it easier for users to find. I suggest calling it a hydraulic cylinder or linear actuator.

P.S. I noticed that when you plot the speed of the rod circle, the plotted speed is incorrect. There is nothing to fix, since it appears that that the plot is wrong and the rod speed is correct.
