Adapted from Kilinich's Solid state hydro piston. Kilinich's actuators look better, are scaleable, and are easier to assign keys. So check it out.

The advantage of the actuator in this scene is that you can stretch the spring to the desired end points. The downside is that the hinges don't automatically connect to underlying geometries upon conversion.

it is good to have tools, which one can use in scenes, and actuators are good to have. Please, if you can and have the time, comment more inside the scene, like: "use the arrow-keys (up and down) from the keyboard to interact with the springs", in my first humble try i didnt know that i had to use them.
