I like the look of it, but the directional controller just doesn't feel right. I don't know if my wallclimbing technology would be any better, but you can use it if you'd like.

perhaps green block that makes you really slow and maybe a orange block that makes you fast

hhmm.... yeah! it will be hard though, the orange block can be a conveyor belt that goes in the same direction as you, thr green one can go the other way!
