Algodoo

This is simple gearbox. It came out that it needs only minor tweaks to work almost perfectly. Could be miniaturized and equipped with up to 5 gears.

It handles really nice torque! It is able to spin high friction wheels! At this moment it weights about 1500kg and is able to handle 15 times heavier vehicle (mass reduced twice to increase vehicle speed)
