Because of the large number of objects in this scene it will probably run sluggishly. The scene is primarily to supply you with the building blocks. Use them freely in your projects.

While the penta/heptagons seem unorthadox, the rest is pretty good. The equialaterals are buetiful, the octogons seem more polished, and the joints are more effecient. Well done my friend, well done.

Thanks BC. I had to add a lot of point to roughen up the surface and prevent them from being sticky and interpenetrating. I have ideas for a lot more shapes. The T shaped slots are working pretty well. And I have the system down in Inkscape for generating the tiles comparatively effortlessly.

That's good. In one of your other works, it had a rack of sorts, with the T-grooves, and I tried making a car with hexagon wheels that could climb nearly vertical up them, but it came out really dudly. Perhaps an upgraded rack and some single-sided Ts would work, as the ones in the other scene had wide tips, which did not work.

Oh, and I meant hexagons, not octogons in my previous post.

Yeah a rack would be good, but I put them up already tiled, so that you could clone the connector pieces already in a usable angle. These are really meant for you to make into phunlets and organize as you like for your own use. I hope people will take these and modify and tweak them, as an open source resource. Yeah, I'll make other connectors with varying grips, for more destroyable properties. Thanks for the feedback, that really helps.

Very cool. A great idea. My only complaint is how the pieces tend to overlap and get stuck on each other. It would be nice if there were versions of the square pieces and H connectors made out of multiple rectangles instead of polygons.

Like I say above it was made in Inkscape, a vector graphics program. I added a lot of points by hand because to alleviate the stickiness RBS mentions. RBS, I don't know, that might work better. Why don't you try it out? This is definitely in beta. I'm hoping the Phun community takes these shapes and runs with them, tweaking to everyone's heart's content. -_-

I'd be glad to remake some shapes out of rectangles. I know the blocks have 1 meter sides and 1/3 meter tabs but are there ratios for the tab wall width or the width of the H connector? I want it to be as precise as possible.

Actually, RBS, the tab dimension you mention is for version 1. If you are going to make it in Phun, it might be best to take my square block, magnify the screen to the max and trace and tweak the rectangles until they fit snugly.
