@Doc671 - That won't work because _RNG is a local variable, and you are trying to define it in the global scope. You need to enter a local variable in the geometry in which it is used. You can only define "scene.my...." (global) variables in the console (F10).

Instead of telling users to enter _RNG = 30, why not just add it yourself by editing the scene? It's not good programming practice to force users to make programming changes!

Actually, after looking through the scene, I see that you really should not use _RNG, but rather use scene.my.RNG (do not use the underscore character). Also, you will need to define scene.my.RNG just one time anywhere in the scene or in the console (F10).
