In that scene shows how different adhesion value affected on objects.

Adhesion in algodoo works like additional force to collide surfaces and haven't conditions to how affect different objects.

In case if adhesion is negative, object will jump off from other object. It can be useful for some mechanisms and contraptions.

Also, two objects, one with -100 and the other with +100 adhesion value will interact as both have 0.


In scene shows 3 example of adhesion usage:
Left) Affection of adhesion on collision scripts (and rotating things). Text boxes are just counters for number of collision.
You can drag them a bit up and see how it acts on contact.

High adhesion value(so higher "gluing" force) prevents even small bounce of objects, in comparison with default value.

Center) Just for showing how it "glues" in closed spaces. Lasers are for making movement time from time (but maybe I set too large delay for them, it pretty old scene btw).

Right) Sliding tube. Circle with high adhesion value stuck, cause it to collide bot sliders, so can't rotate to move down under gravity.
