OK. Awesome scene. I noticed that the factory lights dim a little due to the power used for the slicing operation. This scene is an oasis in the middle of a sea of marble races.
There's nothing more delicious than the smell of freshly baked bread. YUM!

Nicely done.
thank dudes!:) by the way...what the hell has happened on here??? u know wen neo revisits the matrix and the whole planet been taken over by agent smith and he say 'you like wat ive done with the place'?? lol the popular charts are stuck on certain scenes and the new charts?? all the heavyweight algodoo contenters such as youmister noonan and mister xray have all gone!! i was scared to release this scene in fear it would get a day on new charts then vanish!! lost in time like tears in the rain!! (blade runner act 7 scene5) lol
Over the past four years, Algobox has been overrun by toddlers and small children who want nothing more than to make cute little scenes of colorful stickmen with offset mouths and no noses. When you click on "Run" the scenes usually fall apart because they were not intended to be executed. They are static cartoons not unlike the comic strips in the Sunday newspapers. Gone are the days when like-minded adults got together and created complex, dynamic scenes that relied heavily on mechanical devices and assemblies, and the occasional math equation. The whole idea was to utilize as many of Algodoo's awesome physics tools as we can in our scenes while showing off to the world what we have created. We shared ideas between each other in the forum (which is hardly used at all now) and we had challenges and contests that made being here on Algobox enjoyable and educational for everyone. Sadly, Algobox has turned into a kindergarten for children. It just isn't natural for children and adults to play together in the same sandbox, and that's why most adults have left, and that's why they continue to leave.
What about new group? These children do NOT know how to use groups (like WorkInProgress etc.), so add new group (example: Complex or Adult or Expert), and if you want to search for "better" scenes, you need to search in this group
If some really "bad" scene will be in this group admit just move it back to Default group
Sorry for my bad English
Yes, you are correct about using "groups". Recently, Emanuel added a group to the filters that allows a person to select a filter that will prevent scenes from being shown that have the words "marble", or BFDI, or "algicathlon", or "camp" in the title. The problem with that idea is the fact that many of the juvenile scenes don't use those particular words, and so a lot of those childish scenes are still shown. It's an improvement, but far from acceptable in my opinion. The best way to utilize the groups would be to make a specific group that we want only that group to show (maybe call it "technical" or "advanced" or something like that). Make the filters so that you can select that group as the ONLY group that gets shown on the display page. I suggested that idea to Emanuel but he doesn't want to do it because it's too difficult to implement in the existing system. In my opinion, the BEST way to handle the current problem is to completely separate the children from the adults by giving each group their own portion of the website. There would have to be controls in place that would prevent children from posting in the adult portion, but I think that would be an ideal solution. Unfortunately, I doubt that would ever happen.

If you would like to try using the group filter feature, just click on "settings", and at the bottom of the page you will see "hide groups". Scroll down to the last group filter in the list and select it. When you go back to the main display page, you should see fewer juvenile scenes.

UPDATED COMMENT: Improvements have been made! See A Better Algobox!
