Too much LAG! One trick you can do to reduce the lag is to freeze all the water, then cut off a strip along the top of the blue polygon (frozen water). Depending on how deep the actual water needs to be for your scene, you make it as thin as 10 percent wide or as thick as 50 percent wide or wider. After you cut the thickness of water that you need, then liquefy that strip. You will end up with liquid water sitting on top of frozen water. Of course if you make it very wide, then the scene will lag again from having too much water!

The shades of blue between the liquid water and the frozen water may be slightly different, and so you might need to adjust the colors so that they match.
Too much lag? Not much lag for me:/ I see no proof to your statement:/
Seriusly the worst it goes is a small slowdown to 50% - WORST, and there are not lag spikes
Well, you must have a much faster computer than mine. I use Fraps for monitoring the frame rate of my scenes, and when I check your "Thingy" scene, the frame rate is at 60 Frames per Second while Algodoo is NOT running, but as soon as I run Algodoo, the frame rate drops way down to 3 (yes, THREE!) FPS. So, maybe my graphics card needs to be replaced or adjusted(?). :s

I would like to hear from others to find out if they are experiencing the same problem that I am having.
Im using a 2000 dollar alienware gaming laptop from 2 years ago.
No wonder it doesn't lag for you! That's a high end computer! :o
Yeah, So how am i suppose to properly judge how laggy my scene will be for others?
The only thing I can recommend is to not post scenes that use a lot of water. If possible, use only a small amount of water and maybe try to make "fake" water for some scenes. Another thing that lags slow computers is when a scene spawns lots of geometries (circles, boxes, polys) continuously without deleting the older ones (set TimeToLive to small number, not infinite). Those are just a couple of suggestions, but I'm sure someone else may have other suggestions. Maybe post your recent question in the FORUM?
Geeze you dont have to emphasize the "FORUM?" so much, @Xray
Because, Like i said, I cant make an account without encountering some sort of issue. I have no way to get on the forumns! I dont understand why you cant understand that, and accept that its one of my limitations and i have to work around it! Sorry if this is disrespectful, but from my perspective, You think i can easily just make a forumn account... Wich i cant.
Okay, calm down, MoBuilds. I couldn't recall if I suggested the forum to you before or not because I deal with a lot of people on Algobox (mostly children who ask questions about scripting). I don't understand why you cannot log in to the forum as a new user. Have you tried a different user name? If you try to log in using MoBuilds, the system may already have that name. So try something different like MoBuilds2 or something like that.
