i am still blown away every time i see it move

one side is supported by a wheel.

Having a wheel isn't against any rules, nor did I claim this to fully walk.

Try making your own tripedal walker without wheels or anything of the sort...
The third leg wouldn't be stepping, it'd be sliding around and cause the whole thing to jump.

And don't forget to make it so there's two legs on one side and one leg on the other.
