After having fondled a few of these beautiful carbines, I decided to give one a crack. Since there's a blizzard where I live right now, and work is closed, I decided to open Algodoo for a bit. This is the result of what was actually a short amount of time relative to other designs. It was completed the same day it was started, and turned out quite beautifully. Though, I may add some functional updates in the future, as it will occasionally jam.

TO USE: pull back and release the charging handle on the side. Push the safety forward (M14/M1-style in-trigger-guard safety), and fire with enter/return or by dragging the trigger. Magazine holds 20 rounds.

A FEW COOL FEATURES:

The way the bolt locks is the simplest and most reliable I've made yet

Internals for the trigger group are true-to-life (or at least very, very close), including the trigger-guard recocker (trigger guard swings down to cock the hammer again, allowing second strike capability)

there is an easter egg as well, though i'm not saying what :x (Shut up Lethal Squirrel, I know you already know;) )

Enjoy!

EDITS: HUGE HUGE HUGE performance upgrade. It's unlikely to jam now, as I dumped several magazines through it without a hiccup. Not saying it WON'T happen, but it's unlikely.

Very good! And I found the "super secret" easter egg hehe
Just now i downloaded 1911 times from you XD TRY A COLT 1911 XD
ummmm I have a 1911. Several, actually. lol.
A gun joke that my dad told me:
A Glock and a 1911 walk into a bar. The Glock challenges the 1911 to a drinking contest.

The 1911 says "Ha ha, I will surely win!"

Glock says "You old idiot, you won't make it past 8 rounds"

I found your secret auto switch (although I broke it ion the process of finding it )

This is the kind of stuff that makes me hate the fact that I'm awful at guns. Amazing scene, 10/10 :)
I'll have to remember that joke:lol:

did the auto switch work properly after? It's supposed to rotate forwards and down.
No, I broke every other part but the switch worked fine :)
Amazing as always!
Good god he's risen from the dead!

Glad to see you're back working in algodoo. Missed you, man.
P.S. Now all we need is a super secret algodoo firearm-making tutorial...
*shh its super secret*

This is all NG's work, it really helped me to get into algodoo guns.

Clank. I love you.
NG. I love you too.
lololol, i can break every gun, 100% stable or not XD
Please. Please. Please convert this into a scripted model.
Hey NG, I am looking for some help on how to make the scripts for my glock. Any help would be appreciated. My email is Florencecef@gmail.com
Hi NG I was just wondering if you have any recomendations for how to build sear disconnects for semi auto in algodoo. I don't know how to script but prefer to just do things mechanically anyways. Thanks so much.
@Leonidas3234, My recommendation is to make sure the sear disconnect is heavy/dense enough that the hammer doesn't slip past it. Also, make sure its travel and the primary sear/trigger and hammer engagement overlap, meaning that the sear is in a position to catch the hammer BEFORE the hammer even drops, and that the primary sear/trigger is ready to for reset BEFORE the semi auto sear releases the hammer. I've seen a number of guns before that will fire a second time upon reset if you're too slow because the disconnect releases the hammer too soon.
