Good job! You figured out a clever way to make complex translation/rotation moves by switching colors. :tup:
I did something similar here with my Rubik's Cube

You beat me to it, because I am doing it the "hard way" (that is, by actually sliding and rotating the geometries). This seemingly simple project is actually quite difficult to implement with Algodoo.

Thanks. I move pieces not colors. I didn't even think of moving colors until after I finished this and then checked Rubik's cubes.
Oh, I didn't realize that you actually move the geometries. They move so fast that I assumed you only switch colors! :lol:

I am still working on my version of this puzzle, but it's very difficult, and I don't know if I'll be able to do it.:(
Very nice! When I uploaded this, I was hoping the both of you would give it a go. I'm glad you guys took on this challenge!

At first I thought this seemed like a very simple puzzle (to the point that it didn't seem very puzzle-like at all), but after scrambling it better, it becomes moderately challenging to solve.

I've come up with a few ideas on how to make this a fully functional without the use of thyme. I've also come to the conclusion that anything I do will be over-complicated and impractical. The end result might be virtually unplayable. Having said that, I'm still not giving up on this!:lol:

@Xray
I still look forward to seeing your solution to making this work! Just don't force yourself to work on it for my sake. Only do it if you actually enjoy working on it! :)
@RIBI - I'm still working on it as time permits. I'm doing it differently than the way s_noonan did it, and that's probably why I'm having so much trouble making it work!:bonk: Check out s_noonan's latest twisty puzzle. He did a great job on it.
