Well made scene. However, I just wanted to point out that the way you have it working is actually incorrect. In real clocks the escape gear is actually powered by a spring or weight mechanism, not by the pendulum. The only purpose of the pendulum is to limit how much and how often the gear turns. The gear also restores energy to the pendulum lost by friction.

Easily fixed in your scene just by powering the gear and upping the torque a bit!
