You can use an automatic CVT, but if it's a fixed-ratio gearbox then yes it will need to be manual.

Yep, this is the final version! And i have NOOOOOO idea how to make a gearbox with working gears.

It still has problems.

1, you broke the power rule. This has 90hp (with sim.limitangvel at +inf, which is allowed) but the car only weighs 21kg. Either increase the weight or cut some power.

2, you broke the timer. When I hit the box at the end it just says "undefined"...

3, how the hell did you manage to get the start point like 3 km from [0, 0]!?
