Scientific Accuracy, that actually seems like a good idea. I mean, I'm perfectly fine with Algobox the way it is, but I see why some people are angry over the quality and oversaturation of these scenes (faytree brings up some interesting points on his Anti-Algicosathlon scene.) Splitting Algobox would be quite drastic, but it does seem to be the best way to stop this arguing. It might be odd seeing an opinion this wordy coming from me, someone who doesn't really upload scenes unless it's for Marble Camps, (something that I personally find overdone,) but that's how I see it.

@ EStone: thanks for that Aggreement. I really think that split would not be much work for Admins in programming. But it would help very much. One section could be for complex or educational scenes and the other for fun/"marblethlon" and so on... the exact difference would be an item of discussion. But the idea at all is wise I think!

Maybe few people noticed this, but the scene upload page has been modified lately with added text: Remember to change the group to "Marble races" if you are uploading a marble race! The reason for selecting the Marble Race group when you upload a marble race scene is so when people do a search, they can select the marble race group, and then only marble race scenes will show up. On the other hand, you can search on every group EXCEPT the marble race group, and then all scenes except marble races will be displayed. The Admin at Algoryx who made this change was hoping that people would start using the Marble Race group as it was intended, and that would hopefully split the website into two groups (Marble Races and everything else). Unfortunately, people haven't been using it as they had hoped. I personally don't like the idea because people are basically lazy and would not take the time to select certain groups to search for, but I could be wrong.

Concerning actually splitting the website up into two separate groups, just isn't going to happen because, as I've said many times before, Algoryx no longer supports Algodoo or the website, and therefore will not put any time or money into changing or improving it. So, unless a miracle happens, we are stuck with what we have. Maybe the recent idea of policing each other through posting comments might be effective. Time will tell!

@ Xray: 1.: a solution could be, that you or other admins could delete EVERY marble race scene that is not declared in that special group. Then they will learn very quick how to use that function!

2.: We really should try to convince Algoryx or even Emil for supporting us again or at least sell the rights of Algodoo to Someone that would support us with real and continous updates!

Should we write a big Message @ Emil - Xray do you know if he would answer=? Have you personally a contact to him?

@Scientific Accuracy: Yeah having that problem, but hey what if we just separate groups? 1 for marble/BFDI camps, 1 for marble races, maybe thats the solution to stop that messy traffic in the search engine that aving about 80 pages to fully complete read all of that scenes... But still Our Community Shall Not Fall!

A thing I would like to point out. This is one of the only games/apps that helps you make a really good marble race with awesome physics, somewhat easy makeable moving/spinning/pushing platforms and more.
