I reverse-engineered Paradigm29`s famous hovercraft (to which this is a response if you haven`t seen it and rated it five stars) and made my own simple hovercar. Paradigm took great care to make sure that his hover drive didn`t push the vehicle in either direction, but for this one the hover drive doubles as the forward propulsion. Not quite as complicated, but it also means that you don`t have to go messing with the .phn file to make a superfan to power it. It also gets very fast. The coolest thing about this method of propulsion is that it can not only handle rough terrain, but actually thrives on it, accelerating like a bat out of hell when it hits bumps.

ASD to control the hover drives, arrow keys for a weak directional controller that you probably won`t need to use. When you hit the zipline, just ride it. Running the motors will only slow you down.
Also, there`s an alternate path or two you can take. The spike pit can be driven over if you don`t fall onto it too hard and stick yourself, and it isn`t necessary to catch the zipline.

Oh yeah, and everything that`s white is zero-friction.

wth is that supposed to be? it's just 2 boxes with some balls and springs...
And it works almost the same as Paradigm's famous hovercar. I just didn't bother trying to be mysterious and making the springs and balls invisible and tiny. Did you try driving it? I can make and post another hovercar that's harder to figure out and has some artwork if you'd really like that better, but I've always been a technical type, so this thing is just bare and unhidden mechanics.
Who's rating me down and why?
Who's rating you down and why?
Who: I am
Why: You took a perfectly balanced creation and made your own ripoff that works like crap. If had been better than the original you would have gotten 5 stars from me(you got a 2). And now go and be predictable and rate all my scenes with 0 or 1.
I did not take it and turn it into crap. The deviations from Paradigm's original design are intentional. This particular machine does exactly what I want it to, sorry that it doesn't look very nice.

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not immature or stupid enough to rate your creations down in revenge. Your stuff is also too good for that even if I were the idiot you seem to think I am. Sorry I didn't credit you for the Raunits, by the way.
I don't think it's so bad. My first scene post was a reverse engineering of conundrumer's archimedes screw scene. I think it's much better for people to take the scenes apart and remake them than to ask for tutorials. Frank did an okay job here Rara. I don't think you should be so hard on him:(

(btw the only thing I have against you Frank is that your avatar on the forums is creepy:D)
