This thing was inspired by NGPhil; he's made a scene like this but didn't upload it.
But I'm not sure if his version could cycle rounds :cool:
I've used the gunpowder script and it works fairly well for this. just press return!

P.S: The round is impulsed by the gas, and the gas piston is moved by the gas too! Just fire and see

It's an interesting gun, certainly.

Why are all the se guns so ridiculously huge, and yet shoot so pathetically slow? That's why I use attraction, because the gun can be a realistic size and shoot at a realistic speed. :tup:
'Cause I really don't care about the muzzle speed unless it has to fire at something!
I can make it faster just by adding materialVelocity or whatever but I like how it works right now because I haven't seen a cycling gun like this one in Algobox.
Also, yeah, I don't like doing huge guns, but keep in mind that to make something like this you need lots of sim.frequency or lots of size and weight. And the scene is lagging for me until I fire the first round (because of the gunpowder) but if I used more realistic size and high frequency this would be unbearable for everyone!
