I can think of one advantage and one disadvantage of artificial tracers.

Advantage: You could turn the tracer on and off with Thyme script. You cannot do that with a regular tracer (as far as I know).

Disadvantage: When making a short tail (Time To Live only a few seconds) there's no problem. But if you make the Time To Live value very high or infinite, then it will spawn zillions of circles that will eventually cause excessive computer LAG.

It doesn't work for me. The "artificial tracer" doesn't do anything. I think its just that I have Algodoo V2.0.1.)|(
